For Your Health & Safety

  • If anyone in your group feels ill or has been exposed to an illness, please ask them to stay home.

  • Wash your hands regularly, or use hand sanitizer. Try not to touch your face, eyes, nose, or mouth too often.

  • We follow Virginia’s State of Emergency guidelines.

Reserve a Studio

Please contact us PRIOR to booking your shoot if it includes any of the items below. 202-567-7206 or booking (at) union206 (dot) com.

  • Audio Productions: We are not a soundstage. We can control the ambient noise inside the building by reserving all three studios. However, you may encounter room tone, the sound of rain on the roof, and sounds from outside and adjacent properties. We have hosted numerous professional audio productions that do not require the noise attenuation of a soundstage. A site survey is recommended if you’re unsure of your requirements.

  • Shoots with ten or more people- have your total group size ready when you call.

  • Dancing or music videos. (We don’t rent video lights.)

  • Live music.

  • Events, including workshops.

  • Potentially messy shoots (water, snow, paint, etc). Glitter is prohibited.

  • Shoots with a lot of props, set pieces, or furniture you bring.

These shoots need approval by the studio director.  If you continue to make a reservation without approval, your shoot may be canceled without a refund. 

Cancelation Policy

Payment is due in full at the time of the booking. This policy applies to cancelations, rescheduling, shifting hours or studios, etc.

  • 15 days or more in advance- 100% studio credit or rebooking without penalty.

  • 14 days to 49 hours in advance- 50% studio credit or rebooking at 50% discount.

  • 48 hours or less- No studio credit. You must rebook at the normal rate.

Hourly Rental Rates
All Day, Every Day, Any Studio!

Member Hourly Rate - $45/hour + tax
Non-Member Hourly Rate - $90/hour + tax

2 Hour Minimum for All Reservations
